Zach and Melanie’s sunrise elopement at Sunset Cliffs was something truly special. We decided to meet up before sunrise to catch the soft, moody light of blue hour and take some adventurous portraits before they got into their wedding outfits and honestly, it couldn’t have been more magical.
Once they were dressed and ready, they did a sweet first look right there on the cliffs before sharing their vows in the quietest, most peaceful moment with the sound of waves below and birds flying overhead. No distractions, just the two of them taking it all in.
After the ceremony, we explored the cliffs together and showed them some of our favorite hidden gems in the area. They wrapped up their morning with a sweet little picnic, complete with a cake that had two tiny statues of their pups on top (since their fur babies couldn’t make the trip). They also read letters from their loved ones and toasted with a special beer brought all the way from their favorite bar in Atlanta.
To cap it all off, they popped some champagne with the ocean as their backdrop, officially kicking off their just-married adventure in the best way possible.
