Nicholas and Amber’s winter elopement in Mammoth Lakes was such a special, cozy, and love-filled celebration. They spent the day surrounded by their three adorable kids and six of their closest friends, creating memories none of us will ever forget.
The day started at a beautiful little cabin, where everyone was getting ready. The guys were hanging out with the guys, and the girls were getting ready together. The energy was so fun and relaxed, and you could tell everyone was just excited to be there for this moment.
Afterward, we headed to a nearby spot for their private first look. Nicholas and Amber saw each other for the first time, and it was pure emotion. Both of them tearing up, and even sharing a dance to their favorite song right there in the snow. Honestly, one of the sweetest moments of the whole day.
Then it was time for the ceremony. We made our way to the ceremony location, tucked between natural hot springs and thick, magical fog that made everything feel extra dreamy. Nicholas and Amber exchanged their vows surrounded by friends, kids, and the wild, wintery landscape.
After some fun group portraits and a “just married” photoshoot with their kiddos, we all headed to the final stop of the day – the lake where Nicholas originally proposed to Amber. It meant so much to them to include this spot, so they slipped on special shoes and shared a little dance in front of everyone. As the sun went down, we decided to us their truck’s headlights for one last epic nighttime shot to close out this magical day.
It was such an unforgettable celebration with so much love, laughter, and meaning. We’re so incredibly grateful to have been a part of it.
